We haven’t seen much of the squirrels for months, but they seem to be back now. This photo was taken and a particularly windy day in April.
The blowing wind reveals the different layers of colour in the squirrels fur. Hard to believe how dark it is under those red tips.
Here’s a photo going back to the beginning of April.
It’s not often we get to see a deer’s teeth. LOL
This photo was taken just days before the snow storm hit, in the middle of April.
Such a lovely, warm and sunny day.
Another photo taken during the storm in the middle of April.
These were taken during the snow storm we got in the middle of April.
They all look rather irritated by the weather. LOL
I wouldn’t want to meet this purple finch in a dark alley. He looks like he’s ready to peck someone’s eyes out!
This blep was so fast, the camera barely caught it!
He is risen; he is risen, indeed! We have much to be joyful for.
This was taken during the snow storm we had on April 15.
The juncos weren’t even feeding, really. Mostly, they just sat there, all puffed up, making the odd, desultory peck at some seeds.
It must have been quite a shock for the juncos to be back for the summer, only to have winter hit them, instead!
